FAQ

Is a coding academy enough to get hired?

Yes, but it can be difficult depending on your ability to network and showcase your work, which is why we don’t stop at just bootcamp. The CodeBoxx team prides ourselves on often forgotten skills such as resume building, mock interviews, and professional networking to help our students become highly sought-after candidates.

Which online course is best for coding?

It depends on your goals. A program that exposes you to all aspects of software development are typically better than courses on specific languages, frameworks, or functions. From there, you want to make sure your program works with you to tailor your experience to the areas you’re passionate about.

Should I join a coding academy with no experience?

Absolutely. Many academies are designed for beginners, but no matter what you’re learning it always helps to have some basic knowledge or self-study before you start to hit the ground running and take full advantage of the program.

Which coding academy is best for beginners?

If you are a beginner the most important aspect of a coding academy is a strong support system. The best coding school for beginners will leverage a network of alumni, instructors, and peers to help with resume building, mock interviews, and professional networking on top of just coding.

Is 40 too old for a coding academy?

No, age is not a barrier, in fact many people transition to tech later in life! The key is choosing a program that provides personal development training to help you leverage your life experience with communication, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
